DUTCH RYE BREAD

Ingredients
2 cups rye flour
3/4 cup cracked wheat
3/4 cup bran flakes
3/4 cup wheat germ
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
1/3 cup dark molasses
2 cups hot water (have additional hot water ready in case needed)

Instructions
1. Mix all ingredients together. If the mixture looks too stiff add some additional hot water.
2. Pour mixture into a 9 x 5 inch greased loaf pan. Wrap in foil and bake for 1 hour in preheated 300F oven.
3. After 1 hour turn off oven but leave the loaf in for an additional half hour.
4. Remove the bread from the pan and re-wrap in foil. Return to the oven for an additional ½ hour.
5. Store in refrigerator and slice loaf into slices as you need them.
