BABI PANGANG SAUCE (Sauce for Chinese Pork)Ingredients½ cup beef or vegetable bouillon 2 Tbsp sugar 1 Tbsp sherry ½ small tin tomato puree ½ tsp Ve-Tsin 1 Tbsp olive oil 1 small onion - finely diced ½ tsp crushed garlic Instructions 1. Combine the first five ingredients. 2. Fry onion in olive oil until golden brown. Add crushed garlic and fry for another minute or so. 3. Add the mixture of the first five ingredients and allow to simmer for 5 minutes. Place Babi Pangang on serving platter and pour sauce over it. Serve with white rice and cucumber salad. |
